Then we went through the cards and sang the abc song until they could do it with out my help. Then once that was mastered I would have them go through the cards and Identify the letter. Then we would scramble them up and they would put them in order while singing the abc song for help. Then we started adding the sounds with the letters. Then we used some magnetic letters to put small words together and if they wanted to continue we started on some readers that Diana gave me from her Kinder class. Well, that was more than I intended to tell you but it worked for all three of my girls. My sister used the Bob books for her son and it worked well. Have fun! THis was my favorite part of mothering so far!Momma B.https://www.blogger.com/profile/11928574105517041074noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21469458.post-71847714737894759192011-02-28T19:45:17.167-05:002011-02-28T19:45:17.167-05:00Perhaps I shall own such a store when I grow up! ;...Perhaps I shall own such a store when I grow up! ;)

Please don't feel obligated to look at my blog. There sure wasn't one in my area growing up... we had to rely on the big NCHE book fair every year. I thought those only existed online. :)

I don't know about your science experiments, but I have heard various mothers rave about that teaching reading book, so I bet you will be happy with that one. :)Brandy Vencelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17945305890488681685noreply@blogger.com
