Sorry to hear how your evening turned out... :(

I'm not sure how you could pull this off, but newspapers absorb odor...I'm picturing crumpled up newspapers all over your living room...as silly as that sounds or looks in my head, maybe it would help absorb some of that smell.
Sometimes, don't you wish they made huge boxes of baking soda for times like these? ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-21469458.post-77202190258020785102007-11-18T22:39:00.000-05:002007-11-18T22:39:00.000-05:00well, I hate to remind you, but do you remember sm...well, I hate to remind you, but do you remember smoking out my house with my fireplace a few years back????

Last year, our fireplace was very smokey until we got a new front for it. One night, Nathan had put it out, but I woke up a few hours later and realized that it smelled so strong and it was so smokey you could hardly see! That night we had stay outside for quite awhile while a fan pulled some of the smoke out.
And no, I haven't found anything other than airing the house out to get rid of the smell, you could try febreeze though.
Sorry it was such a mess, had you used it before?
Love ya!!Rachelhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17903589336457735111noreply@blogger.com
