A friend just sent me this link. It's powerful. It's tough for my flesh to take. I pray that God makes me willing to elevate the Giver above His gifts...

Wow...My heart is burning with so many different emotions after hearing that. I want to agree whole heartedly while at the same time I burn with sorrow for the fleshly earthly pleasures that I am called to be satisfied without. My heart breaks to try and love Christ more than my children and my heart breaks again when I realize how illequiped I am to do it, then my heart almost bursts with gratefulness for my Savior who makes it all possible and for whom I am willing to try in HIS strength alone.
Just what I needed to kick start my slow day! Thanks for the link!
